THE PRESENCE
Biography
Born in Budapest in 1979, Andrea Osvárt graduated with distinction from an Italian–Hungarian bilingual high school before earning a degree in Italian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Arts of Eötvös Loránd University in 2005.
While studying, she established a successful career in modelling and television, appearing in more than thirty commercials and gaining extensive experience in front of the camera. Her introduction to filmmaking came with a role in Spy Game (2001), alongside Robert Redford and Brad Pitt—an experience that inspired her to pursue acting professionally.
Andrea trained at the Földessy Margit Acting School in Budapest before continuing her studies at the International Acting School in Rome. Since 2003, Rome has been her home and creative base, where she has built a career working across European and international film and television productions. She also studied screenwriting at the Schilling–Moharos Screenwriter School in Hungary.
Working fluently in English, Italian, and Hungarian, Andrea is drawn to projects that cross cultures and languages. Her work is defined by emotional authenticity, versatility, and a strong connection to international storytelling.
Beyond her work on screen, Andrea is committed to architectural heritage, urban development, and community building. As a member of the Margaret Quarter Decision Preparation & Advisory Board in Budapest, she contributes to the regeneration of one of the city’s historic neighbourhoods. Together with her partner, economist Milan Gauder, she develops cultural and civic initiatives, while balancing her professional life with raising their young daughter.
